Chunks of the dam remain downstream. This one still shows the very identifyable staircase the dam was built with. This block was from near the top of the dam where it was more narrow.

Chunks of Wing Dyke that was not devastated by roaring water but by men and dynamite who's cause was to hide the embarrassment of the disaster. They failed!
